The best xp tasks in the game are ones that you can cannon or barrage in multicombat areas - nechrayels, dust devils, dagganoth, smoke devils, suqah, and bloodveld off the top of my head.

As an ironman you cannot underestimate the Superior grind for an Imbued heart. Unlock that early. Superiors also give you more xp/hr if you get one on task over the use of a slayer helm at low levels.
